My Story

From an Engineering factory into the beauty industry is where it all began.

Prior to my husband and I going our separate ways in 2008, I worked alongside him in our Engineering factory while rearing our two young children. I was driving trucks and working on the factory floor; doing jobs that were not aligned with the person I was. I don’t mind hard work, I just never got used to working in that environment so, I said to my husband, "I can't do this anymore, I’m going into the beauty industry." So, I left behind the steel capped boots, the trucks, the dirt and grime and went into the beauty industry as a nail technician to start with earning a few extra dollars to help with the household expenses and spending money for myself and my two young children.

The idea of a household brand name within the beauty industry helping others came through at a time of crisis in my life.  This was and became the turning point to which I said to myself,  "I will do whatever it takes to make my idea a reality."

At that time, I was living in a run down ramshackle of a house in the corner of Brighton, Queensland. I was broke with 2 teenagers and about to be kicked to the curb. I had no idea about business; I would have to learn along the way. I didn't have the money to go to school or the time.

Starting from where I stood, in that ramshackle house in the depths of despair, I started to take baby steps. Through many struggles and dark days over 14 years, the idea eventually evolved into what is is today, a simple but elegant beauty service concept I'm so proud of.
