Why She Leads

The skill behind great training is the same skill behind her profession.

Training someone well isn't simply knowing the material. It is understanding how to communicate it so that it is understood, retained and ultimately put into practice.

That is not a skill Maxine has acquired for this role. It is her profession.

As a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with a Bachelor of Language and Linguistics, Maxine works within the science of communication, comprehension and learning. Her professional experience is directly aligned with the role of guiding people through a structured system and helping them understand how to apply it in practice.

Her background in brain and metabolic health research adds depth to the science underpinning the personal development philosophy at the heart of LA PEAUX®.

Her experience as a state and national athlete, including training under Ken Woods — Olympic swim coach and Australian triathlon coach — brings another essential quality: discipline.

Together, these experiences give Maxine a rare combination of communication expertise, scientific curiosity, discipline and professional presence.

She understands that a system is only valuable when people can understand it, remember it and use it.

That is the skill she brings to the LA PEAUX® training room.

A Word From Maxine

"I've always believed the brain is where everything starts — how we think, how we feel and how we age. What we eat shapes that, from the years when we're barely forming memories through to the years we spend looking back on them.

"That belief didn't come from a textbook first. It came from being an athlete from a young age, training under Ken Woods, Olympic swim coach and Australian triathlon coach, who taught me that discipline isn't punishment — it's care, repeated daily.

"That's what I bring to this role.

"Leading LA PEAUX®'s first White Glove Master Trainer Day isn't simply teaching a curriculum. It's showing others what I learned early: that real change is built the same way a body or a mind is — one honest, disciplined day at a time."
