Meet Your First Atelier Master Trainer | LA PEAUX®

Meet Your First Atelier Master Trainer
The House's very first White Glove Master Trainer Day is led by someone whose whole profession is the art of guiding people to communicate, connect, and grow.
Maxine Timms
Why Maxine
The skill behind great training is the same skill behind her profession.
Training someone well isn't just knowing the material — it's knowing how to communicate it so it actually lands. That's not a skill Maxine picked up for this. It's her profession. As a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with a Bachelor of Language and Linguistics, she works every day in the science of how people understand, retain, and use language. Add a background in brain and metabolic health research, and the discipline of a state and national athlete trained under Olympic swim coach Ken Woods — and you have someone built, in every sense, to lead a room and guide people through real change.
Communication Expertise
Speech pathology and linguistics are the science of how people truly absorb and retain what they're taught — the exact skill a great trainer needs.
Discipline & Standard
A state and national athlete's background brings the same rigour and consistency to the training room that it took to compete at that level.
Depth of Knowledge
Research experience in brain and metabolic health adds real substance underneath the personal development philosophy at the heart of LA PEAUX®.
A Word From Maxine
"I've always believed the brain is where everything starts — how we think, how we feel, how we age. What we eat shapes that, from the years we're barely forming memories right through to the ones we spend looking back on them. That belief didn't come from a textbook first. It came from being an athlete from a young age, training under Ken Woods (Olympic Swim Coach and an Australian Triathlon Coach) who taught me that discipline isn't punishment — it's care, repeated daily. That's what I bring to this role. Leading LA PEAUX®'s first White Glove Master Trainer Day isn't just teaching a curriculum. It's showing others what I learned early: that real change is built the same way a body or a mind is — one honest, disciplined day at a time."
